What's New With The Verse Of The Day

Monday January 22nd 2018 10:56 pm

For some time now I've wanted to offer a phone service were people could call in and hear a recording of me saying 'The Verse of the Day' devotion in English with a Canadian and United States phone number. I have struggled to keep this up to date because of my physical disability worsening.

I have a thought of a day of automating this. After today's research I realize the effort for this to happen it will take a lot of effort. This doesn't mean I am not willing to continue researching this. I need to know if this is a service you would use.

I would like you to respond with "Yes I would use it" , "No I would not" , "I know someone who would". Please be honest. You aren't going to hurt my feelings if this isn't something you need in life right now. Perhaps this is outreach to people when they are away from home.

In any case I hope to make an audio version available through the web site in the coming months.

The Verse of the Day For

  • Bible Reading
  • 1 Timothy 1:15-17
  • Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners - of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on Him and receive eternal life. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
